Welcome to Calvin

Calvin Church Welcomes You!

Whether or not your church background is Presbyterian, we welcome you to our congregation! God calls us to worship Him, to be in regular fellowship with one another, and to serve. You do not need to be a member of our church in order to do any of these — but many have found that formally uniting with a local church body is a commitment that brings to them a sense of belonging, the challenge to grow in their faith, and an opportunity to use their talents and experience in the service of God. It's exciting to be a part of something so much bigger than we are!

What is Important to You

You are loved unconditionally by God. He has a purpose for your life and wants to have a relationship with you. Come as you are. Doubt is part of the Christian experience. Your beliefs are respected. Journey with us as you explore what God has in store for you!

Who We Are

Calvin Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the love and good news of Jesus Christ through our words and actions. As a reformed church, we rely on the truth and inspiration of Scriptures for God's guidance into the future—a future that we approach with wonder and anticipation, knowing God is with us. As worshiping communities joyfully celebrating the sacraments, we are supported, strengthened and equipped to share the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but
have eternal life." John 3:16

Ministry Plan

Calvin Presbyterian Church is taking risks and making great things happen! Several years ago, the congregation made it very clear that it was time to risk doing things in new and creative ways. One of the key steps to making this happen was our congregation working together to develop and approve a faith based Ministry Plan.  See Ministry Plan (click).
